Liveco announces Toronto debut for March 24

It’s going to be a busy year in the world of combat sports across Ontario.

After running three events in Cornwall, Liveco Boxing has turned its attention to Toronto. Via Facebook, the fledgling promotion announced their intentions to host five boxing events in Toronto throughout 2017, with the first being March 24.

Details of these cards are scarce with venue, talent and tickets still to be announced.

The March 24 show will be Liveco’s fourth venture into Ontario and first to Toronto. The previous three shows, all headlined by former interim world title challenger Tony Luis, took place in Eastern Ontario.

Of the seven fighters currently signed to Liveco, only Luis and prospect Ronnie Robidoux (4-0) are from Ontario. It’s unclear if the promotion is planning to sign more Canadian talent or if they will fill these cards with American fighters.

We’ll be reporting more on this as information becomes available.
